AVH Guitar Repair gjorde jaggu en strålende jobb :D

Anbefalte innlegg

**English-speaking Canadian alert!** :-)

Thank you so much for the kind words Andreas, your J-Custom is a fine guitar and it was a pleasure to work on. So nice to see an RG7 with some nice flame maple for a change. :)

I must make a couple of clarifications here though; I'm just good friends with Mårten and the guys in Meshuggah, and have never formally been employed by them. Whenever they're nearby, I call him and go down, hang out and assist (their tech) Micha for the night and have a good time visiting my buds and watching them play from sidestage. That's all, actually.

With regards to my pricing; 500NOK is my *normal* price for *just* the regular 2 pickup install - I also did a full setup on Andreas' Ibanez which would *normally* be an extra 700NOK...BUT, he was just such a nice guy and sometimes I feel like doing the extra work if I feel the guitar needs it. Little quick things I see that would only take me an extra couple of minutes to do, are no big deal - I just do it. A happy customer is what makes me happy. And see: goodwill comes back around, doesn't it? :)

I always feel it's good business to operate this way, and like most areas of business, volume is what gets discounts, and the more work that needs to be done to your guitar, the greater the discounts, generally. If you just wanted a full setup and that's all, well it's going to be 500-700NOK, depending on your type of guitar. But supposing you wanted a more involved repair, say, a 1400NOK full fretdress, which at the end will also require a new full setup - of course I'm not going to charge you the setup fee as well.

**Anyone who calls me for repair/mod work and tells me they're from the Gitarnorge Forums will get a major discount similar to Andreas'**

Sure man, I will fix you up! Since you are from Gitarnorge, I will do you a full non-floating trem Strat setup for 400NOK cash (100 off). You provide the strings. ;-)

This sounds really great, and I will for sure be bringing my guitars to you in Oslo whenever I drive by to visit my parents for the weekends! Just a tiny question; if I deliver the guitar to you lets say friday, would it be possible to pick it up at sunday if we arrange a time? (I'm always driving back to my place on sundays after I've been with the old folks ;) )

Sure, of course it depends on what you want done though. If it's just a setup, no problem. Drop me an email, and we'll sort it out.
