Kan eg bruke teakolje på rosewood halsene mine?

Eg vurderer å sette rosewood halsene mine inn med teakolje i kveld, noen som mener det ikkje er så smart? Vet eg burde hatt sitronolje, men leste at teakolje skulle fungere nesten like bra.

Edit: Skal ikkje bevege med i nerheten av plasser med utsalg av sitronolje på ei stund, og tror halsene mine har godt av det i disse "lite-luftfuktighet-på-rommet-mitt" tider. Har forresten rapsolje og solsikkeolje om det også kunne vert alternativ.

ja.. det kan gå greit.. men vær sparsommelig med oljen..

ellers er det viktig å vite at sitronolje ikke inneholder sitron..

Wood treatment - the traditional lemon oil used on the unsealed rosewood fingerboards of guitars and other stringed instruments is not made from lemons. It's a different product all together, made from mineral oil and a solvent, usually naphtha, and got its name from its color and tart smell, and should not be confused with the corrosive oil of lemons.
