Anbefalte innlegg

Denne tråden er ment som et galleri, der alle kan legge ut et bilde eller tre av gitaren sin. Om bildene er uforholdsmessig store bør du i stedet legge ut en link.

Slik gjør du for å legge ut bilder:

1: Skaff deg plass på en server. Dette følger ofte med i internettabonnementet ditt, ellers så kan du få det gratis på f.eks. start.no.

2: Last opp bildene du vil legge ut.

Helios Standard

(Restaurerings prosjekt)

Helios10.JPG

Built in Germany in the late 50s.

Imported to Norway by HELLAND MUSIKKHANDEL Skien, Norway. Some modifications made to the electronics appearently.

My uncle bought in the early 60s and used it in his amateur rock 'n' roll career and gave it to me in the mid 70s some time.

We used it in the band for some blues and old rock 'n' roll tunes.

It had a very good and distinct, kind of BB King sound but it was tough to play - hope to change that also now.

Unfortunatly it has been banged around in my mums attic after I quit playing in the mid 80s, so it's has some scrapes and cuts, and the neck it out of wack. I haven't deared plugging it into an amp as I'm afraid of damaging someting. But on my next trip to Norway, I will meet with Helland who will to the restauration. It will probably need a new neck and headstock, but otherwise it looks OK. Hopefully the original electornics can be restored or replaced.
